Aglaonema or Chinese Evergreen
is one of the best plants for beginners (or folks too busy to keep most houseplants alive) ,while the all green varieties can thrive in poorly lit conditions the yellow variegated foliage need a brighter environment.
Recommendations for growing success:
Temperature: Warm in summer – Minimum 60° F in winter
Light: Semi-shade or bright light. Keep well away from direct sunlight
Water: Water sparingly in winter. For the rest of the year water thoroughly
Humidity: Moist air is necessary. Mist leaves regularly, but never use a coarse spray. Surround pot with damp peat.
