Lipstick Plant
Aeschynanthus is commonly grown in a hanging pot, The Lipstick plant has trailing stems with leathery leaves and tubed sapped flowers commonly red however occasionally found in yellows, pinks, and oranges, with blooms as large as 3 inches. It gets its name from the buds that come out of dark colored tubes making them look like little lipstick tubes.
Recommendations for growing success:
Temperature: 60°F -80°F during the summer at least 55°F during winter
Light: Bright light but no direct sunlight
Water: Allow the soil to dry out in between watering
Humidity: Prefers a humid environment for blooming
